This website (maxishine.com.au) is operated by Global Car Wash’s Pty Ltd (ABN 47 636 971 492), trading as Maxishine. We run premium car and dog wash sites across NSW and VIC. If you have questions about this policy, email info@maxishine.com.au.

This site has no contact form, no newsletter signup and no account login. Nothing on the page asks you to enter your details. Your visit is processed the way any web page visit is: your browser makes a request, our host serves the page, and standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) reaches the server logs.

We also use Google Analytics to see how people use the site: the pages you view, how far you scroll, the buttons you tap (such as Join the Wash Club or Get directions) and your rough location, like your city, which Google works out from your IP address. We see totals and trends in reports. They don’t tell us who you are.

On our Locations page you can tap Use my location to sort our sites by distance. Your browser asks your permission first. The distance is worked out on your device and your location is never sent to us or stored. Google Analytics records only whether the lookup worked.

Three services help deliver the pages you’re looking at. Each has its own privacy policy for whatever happens on its side.

• Vercel

  Hosts the site and serves it from edge servers close to you. Vercel processes standard request data (IP, browser info, request URL) to deliver each page.

• Google Analytics

  Counts visits and taps so we can see which pages and buttons people use. Google sets cookies holding a random ID for your browser and uses your IP address to estimate your city or region. We've switched off Google signals and ad personalisation, so we don't use this data for advertising.

• Instagram (Meta)

  Powers the "Follow the wash" feed on the home page. When those images load, Instagram sees your IP address in the same way it does for any embedded post.

Google Analytics is the only tracking on this site. We don’t run Meta Pixel or any advertising trackers.

Some buttons on this site take you to Wash Club and Fleet account portals. Those portals live on Maxishine subdomains and use the Maxishine brand, but they’re operated by external providers under contract to us. Anything you enter there is held by both the provider and Maxishine so we can run your account.

• Wash Club portal, operated by PulseWash

  Members Login, Join the Wash Club and Gift Cards live at members-maxishine.pulsewash.com.au. Details you enter (name, email, vehicle, payment method, wash history) are processed by PulseWash and held by Maxishine so we can administer your membership. PulseWash's privacy policy applies alongside this one.

• Fleet setup portal, operated by Manus

  The Apply now button on the Fleet page takes you to helpdesk.maxishine.com.au. That subdomain looks like ours but is served by Manus. Fleet application details (business name, contact person, vehicle list, billing information) are processed by Manus and held by Maxishine so we can set up and bill your fleet account.

Google Analytics sets two cookies on this site: _ga, which tells one browser from another with a random ID, and _ga_F7PK1VM6LV, which keeps track of your current visit. Both last up to two years and hold no name, email or contact details. To opt out, block cookies for maxishine.com.au in your browser settings or install Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.

Instagram may set its own cookies when the feed images load. The Wash Club and Fleet portals set their own when you sign in or fill out a form, as part of running your account.

Server logs from this website help us keep it running, catch problems and see roughly how much traffic we get. Google Analytics reports show us which pages and buttons people use and which sites draw the most interest, so we can improve the site. Account details from the Wash Club and Fleet portals are used to administer your membership or fleet account. We don’t sell your information, and we share it only with the services named on this page.

Vercel, Google and Meta are based in the United States, so information they process may be stored or handled outside Australia. The Wash Club and Fleet portal providers explain where they store information in their own privacy policies, linked above.

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you can ask what we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete information. Email info@maxishine.com.auand we’ll respond.

If you have a question or a complaint about how we handle your information, email info@maxishine.com.auand we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

When we change how the site collects or uses data (adding a contact form or a new tool, for example), we update this page in the same change. Whatever you see on the site, this policy already reflects it.
